BOOKKEEPING SERVICES
Your books shouldn't keep you up at night.
You started your business to do the work you love, not to wrestle with spreadsheets, chase down receipts, or wonder if your numbers are even right. That's where I come in.
Sound familiar?
Most entrepreneurs don't struggle because they're bad with money. They struggle because no one ever taught them how to run the financial side of a business and there's never enough time to figure it out while also doing everything else.
You’re making money but have no idea where it’s actually going.
Your books are months behind and you dread looking at them.
Tax season feels like a fire drill every single year.
You’ve tried to DIY it but the categories make no sense.
You’re not sure if you’re actually profitable or just busy.
You feel embarrassed about the state of your finances.
You want to grow, but can’t make decisions without clear numbers.
You’re paying a tax accountant but handing them a mess.
None of this means you're bad at business. It means you need a bookkeeper — not judgment.
Why work with me
I'm Jen Wilbers, CPA. I spent nearly 22 years as a federal government auditor which means I've spent my career inside financial systems, finding what's broken, and helping people understand what the numbers are actually telling them.
What that means for your business:
I'm not someone who just enters transactions and disappears. I have a natural ability to spot patterns in financial data, identify where things don't add up, and translate what the numbers mean into language you can actually use to make decisions.
I've spent decades operating at the intersection of precision and clarity — two things your books desperately need. I'm methodical, thorough, and I care deeply about getting it right the first time. Because messy books don't just create stress. They cost you money.
And this is a shame-free space. Whatever shape your books are in right now — that's exactly why you're here.

What's included in monthly bookkeeping
Every bookkeeping engagement includes the following as standard. No surprises, no nickel-and-diming for the basics.
Monthly transaction categorization - Every income and expense is categorized accurately and consistently inside your accounting software so your books actually reflect how your business runs.
Bank and credit card reconciliations - Your accounts are reconciled to statements every month, catching errors and ensuring your records match reality.
Monthly financial reports - You receive a Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Summary, and category-level spending insights — the three things you need to actually understand your business finances.
Expense clarity for decisions - Not just data entry — context. You'll know where your money is going and what it means for decisions you're trying to make.
Basic bookkeeping support - Questions about how transactions are recorded, why a report looks the way it does, what a number means — answered without the runaround.
Coordination with your tax professional - Clean, organized records handed off to your tax preparer at year-end, so their job is easier and your bill is lower.
Judgement-free support - Your books don’t need to be perfect before we start. They just need to exist. We’ll take it from there.

What bookkeeping does not include
Clarity matters from the start. Here's what falls outside the scope of bookkeeping services so there are no surprises.
Tax preparation or filing - bookkeeping supports your tax preparer but does not replace them.
Tax advice or strategy - including estimated tax calculations, deduction planning, or entity selection.
Payroll processing - handled by payroll providers or specialists.
Financial advising or investment management - no stock, retirement, or investment recommendations.
Guaranteed financial outcomes - bookkeeping provides clarity, What you do with it is yours to decide.
How pricing works
Bookkeeping is priced by transaction volume — the average number of monthly transactions across all accounts. This keeps pricing fair, scalable, and aligned with the actual complexity of your business. The pricing ranges from $150/month to $850/month.
Monthly transaction counts typically include:
Income deposits
Expense transactions
Credit card charges
Transfers and recurring activity
Your pricing tier can adjust over time if your business activity changes. Add-on services, cleanup work, or historical catch-up are quoted separately.
